The casual setting features the original barnwood of the bar, and it is upscale enough to host business lunches and meetings. We often say to our customers that we offer an upscale meal for a hometown deal, and what we mean by that is that we offer a wide range of excellent cuisine, but we still have the hometown restaurant vibe, and fair prices. Hilltop Restaurant is run by husband and wife, Anthony and Crystal Conrad. Crystal met Anthony while they were working at a diner together, so restaurants really have played a large part in their lives beyond the business aspect. They were both born and raised into restaurant families, have over 40 years combined experience, and their parents have over 50 years in the restaurant business.
As they furthered their careers and training they came up with one rule, which is that great chefs should not rely on just one teacher. This meant that they would draw inspiration from many sources, and it is something they stick to do this day. The types of restaurants and dining venues they have worked and trained at is impressive, and to list a few they are: catering businesses including wedding and events, fine dining, culinary and pastry school, and local family run restaurants and diners.
The current milestone in their long history of working in the fine dining and restaurant industries is they opened the Hilltop Restaurant on Mother's Day 2015. Since then all their efforts go into making the Hilltop Restaurant an unforgettable restaurant and catering experience, and their customer reviews and top ranking TripAdvisor score are a testament to their hard work, and amazing restaurateur status.
